Question Bank
The Question Bank is a reusable library of questions that you can save, search, and add to any poll — no need to type the same question twice across different polls or spaces.
What the Question Bank Is
Every question you mark as "saved" is stored in the Question Bank at the account level. Questions in the bank are independent of any specific poll or space: you can browse them, filter by type or tag, and drop them into new polls with a single click.
Saving a Question to the Bank
From inside the Poll Editor:
- Hover over any question in the question list.
- Click the Save to Bank icon (bookmark icon next to the question).
- The question is saved to your Question Bank immediately. A confirmation toast appears.
Saving a question to the bank does not remove it from the current poll. The bank holds a copy; edits to the bank copy do not affect the original poll question.
Accessing the Question Bank
There are two ways to open the Question Bank:
- Sidebar shortcut: Click Question Bank under the Tools section at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- Poll Editor: Click the Add from Bank button when adding a new question.
The Question Bank page shows all your saved questions in a searchable grid. You can filter by:

Adding a Bank Question to a Poll
- Open the Poll Editor for the target poll.
- Click Add Question → Add from Bank.
- Browse or search the bank for the question you want.
- Click Insert — the question is copied into the poll.
The inserted question is a fresh copy: changes you make to it inside the poll do not affect the bank entry, and vice versa.

All 7 NextGenPoll question types can be saved to and retrieved from the Question Bank:
- Single Choice
- Multiple Choice
- Short Answer
- Long Answer
- Numeric Answer
- Slider
- Ranking

Managing Bank Questions
From the Question Bank page you can:
- Edit a saved question (updates the bank copy only).
- Delete a saved question (removes it from the bank; does not affect polls already using it).
- Search across all saved questions using text, type, or tag filters.
The Question Bank is scoped to authenticated presenters. Participants do not have access to the bank.
